FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Falls Church, Virginia – June 23, 2017 – One Degree Capital hosted a sold-out event that gave local business owners the opportunity to ask questions about finding and securing business loans without the hassle and formality of going through an entire loan application process.
The event was held last Wednesday at Rare Bird Coffee Company. “It was great to connect with local business owners in an informal setting and support a locally-owned coffee shop at the same time,” explained Rod Loges, Founder and President of One Degree Capital. “That’s what One Degree Capital is all about - supporting small businesses in every way.”
The business owners in attendance stated they were relieved to have a place they could come discuss general financing questions in a pressure-free environment. Topics covered included how to prioritize financing needs when there is more than one, what options exist for start-up capital and what role banks play today for small business owners, among others.
“We are already preparing for our next Capital Over Coffee event,” Jenn Mathis, Vice President and co-Founder, stated, “We have had so much success with these events and want to continue to help local business owners navigate the financial resources they need to grow their businesses.”
The next Capital Over Coffee event will be held in Rockville, Maryland, in late July.
